The folks at this Seattle family hardware chain, Dunn Lumber, celebrate their team with an original batch of birthday cards each year. We partnered to illustrate a set of four, tool-adjacent jokes by personifying both machinery and birthday treats—maintaining Dunn’s color palette while softening their content.
